Communications Technician
Job Purpose: Provide communication installation, maintenance and trouble shooting services to government and commercial clients in the Washington DC Metro area.
Duties:
- Installation of copper and fiber communication systems
- Customer interface on projects
- Trouble Shooting communication system problems
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- 100% of time will be spent in the field
- Potential for advancement
Skills/Qualifications:
- Candidates must have 2+ years of demonstrated experience with commercial data/voice and fiber optic cabling
- Additional experience in low voltage system cabling such as Fire Alarm, Intercom, CATV, CCTV etc is a plus
- Experience reading blue prints and schematics
- High energy, proactive approach
- Personal and professional references
- Clean driving record
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen
